Every Martian Garden comes with over half a pound of Mojave Mars Simulant, developed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to help develop the Mars Phoenix lander. We source iron-rich basalt from the same sources used by NASA and the JPL to ensure your garden gets as close to the surface of Mars as you can without leaving the Earth
